On February 20, 2025, Professor Eberhard Bodenschatz from the Max Planck Institute delivered a seminar on turbulence and cloud turbulence at Nagoya Institute of Technology. This was immediately followed, on February 21, 2025, by the Workshop on Science and Technology in High Reynolds Number Turbulence at the same venue.

Our own Dr. Manhal Alhilali was honored to present an invited talk titled

“Advancing the Super-Droplet Method for Deep Convective Cloud Microphysics: Recent Developments and Applications”

In his presentation, Dr. Alhilali showcased the latest enhancements to the Super-Droplet Method (SDM) and its application to modeling the complex processes within deep convective clouds.
